Map Time Explorer
Map Time Explorer (MTE) is an advanced Gis Web tool developed to publish, visualize and analyze multi-temporal sets of data: it allows you to publish and explore geographic information directly on the web without the need to install any specific software on your PC. It is an interactive tool that enables the capture, visualization and sharing of data dynamically, the production of reports, and the execution of calculations online or with user-defined models.
In particular, MTE is specifically oriented to the exploration and analysis of time series: activating a time series of rasters loaded into the application (for example, a time series of the NDVI) and clicking on any point on the map, in the the chart that represents the index value on each existing date is plotted below. By clicking a point in the series, the map updates to the required date.
PROS
- Make the data already in the possession of the client (mainly in cad and/or table format) available in the GIS environment, enhancing its “geographical” connotation;
- Share up-to-date data within the team working even with non-technical staff, always available on the web, without installing any software on your PC.

- interrogate land data;

- Viewing Time Raster Maps
- Time series extraction for a given point
- Viewing Vector Layers, Attribute Table, and Filter Tools on the Table
- Performing time statistics on a raster magnitude for fixed vector feature.
It is specifically geared towards exploring multitemporal data sets and carrying out statistics and elaborations across the entire territory of interest.
The WebGis MTE platform allows you to consult the table of vector data attributes and perform statistics by intersecting vector and raster data.
With ad hoc customization, it is possible to implement plugins that perform user-requested templates.
